Regional Sales Manager

A successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills which will provide leadership and a positive work environment. You will be responsible for achieving and increasing sales within your region. Your previous experience managing the operation of multiple locations and/or sales representatives enables you to meet or exceed your region’s revenue and profitability quotas. The ideal candidate not only knows how to develop a business plan that will increase future sales, but knows how to instruct his team members in the implementation of his plan. Your experience and knowledge of our products will educate customers on how our company is able to provide the best solution to their needs.

As Regional Sales Manager, you accept responsibility for fulfilling Corporate objectives and the reporting of weekly sales. A successful candidate will not only meet, but exceed corporate objectives and contribute to our company’s ongoing success. By analyzing new market trends, you will discover new areas for growth and the potential for increased or new sales. Your previous experience in sales gives you a strong background in customer satisfaction, closing, and sales tracking. You should have strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively to your team and corporate marketing, as well as expertise in oral, written, and phone communication skills.

Community:

You must live in the New York or New Jersey area. This is a remote position, enabling you to work from any location that has an internet connection, however, travel will be required within your region to meet with clients, your team, and other company personnel. You will be required to motivate, supervise, and set goals for your sales team, while effectively attaining company objectives, from anywhere within your region.

Background Profile:

  • Proven leadership skills

  • A Bachelor’s or Associate degree in business management or a related field

  • Supervisory or management experience, preferably of a sales staff

  • 3-5 years experience with a working knowledge of Tire Industry sales market segments within an assigned sales territory

  • Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position

  • Strong closing skills (prior attendance at formal sales training courses a plus)

  • Proven oral, written, telephone and presentation skills

  • Ability to learn and retain product specific information and utilize to position the features and benefits to customers

  • Computer literate with knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications specifically Excel and PowerPoint

Travel Expectations:

  • Domestic travel required: 75%
