Regional Sales Manager | Western Territory

The Company & Your Role:

We are the world’s largest manufacturer of construction and agricultural tires, with offices in 6 countries and sales in more than 50 countries. Currently, we are seeking a regional sales manager in the U.S.

Our ideal candidate is a dynamic self-starter who can create a strategic business plan to increase tire sales and take our company to the next level. You will need extensive knowledge of the specialty tires. You should be a highly organized person with the drive to implement your business plan in order to achieve the goals set. Our regional sales manager will establish distributors in their assigned region, set and review expenses, as well as forecast annual, quarterly, and/or monthly sales goals.

A successful candidate will be a progressive individual with high standards that inspires team members to achieve marketing, sales, and financial objects. Your previous management skills should include excellent interpersonal skills, including negotiating and communication. A qualified candidate will educate their sales team with presentations and regular meetings. You thrive on deadlines and will both monitor and send timely reports to senior management in Sri Lanka.

This is a remote job position, which requires travel and allows you to work from any location with an internet connection and access to an airport. This enables you to live in whatever city suits you, within the Western US, and removes most of the typical commute issues, such as late buses and crowded subways or freeways.

You will still be expected to meet with clients during their business hours and meet productivity requirements.

Background Profile:

  • 10 years of experience selling a variety of tires with a heavy focus on farm and construction tires

  • Excellent negotiation & communication skills

  • Extensive knowledge of farm, agriculture, and construction tires

  • Ability to formulate sales plans and strategies

  • Flexibility and the ability to work in a start-up like culture

Travel Expectations:

  • Domestic Travel Required: 75%
