Director of Sales

The Company & Your Role:

We are the world’s largest manufacturer of construction and agricultural tires, with offices in 6 countries and sales in more than 50 countries. Currently, we are seeking an experienced and well-seasoned Director of Specialty Tire Sales.

Our ideal candidate is a dynamic and charismatic individual with extensive experience in the specialty tire industry. Your previous experience means you will have proven people skills, leadership skills, as well as negotiation and communication skills, both written and oral.

This candidate is inspiring, trustworthy, and gives team members a desire to emulate their high-standards. Management of the sales team, operations, and budgets come easily to the right candidate as they lead their team to manage company growth and increase sales.

An understanding of the distribution network enables the right candidate to create new avenues of growth by establishing new contacts for distribution. Our candidate will thrive under pressure and enjoys creating strategic business plans and sees them through to completion. This same strategic vision will increase sales, meet or exceed marketing, sales, and financial objectives of the company.

The perfect candidate will define the optimal sales force structure, create an effective sales process, and define and coordinate sales training programs so that high achieving sales personnel will wish to be on your team.

You should expect to monitor and generate reports, including results, to the home office on a regular basis. Travel is extensive for this position.

Community:

This is a remote position, which requires travel and allows you to work from any location with an internet connection and access to an airport. You will be expected to meet with clients during their business hours, manage a remote team, travel internationally and ensure company goals are met.

Background Profile:

  • 20 Years Experience in Sales & Marketing (Construction and Agricultural Tires)

  • Extensive Knowledge of Specialty Tires

  • A Complete Understanding of Distribution & OEM Business

  • A Proven Leader in Team Management

  • Experienced in P&L Management

  • Possess a Farm & Ag Customer Base

  • Extensive Knowledge of Farm, Ag, & Construction Tires

  • Prior Successful Management Experience

Travel Expectations:

  • Domestic & International Travel Required: 75%
